dollar. It was issued to commemorate the declaration of Peace after World War I. The Peace dollar has 2 very unique inscriptions...On the Obverse, the standard inscription
"In God We Trust"
is actually written "In God We
" with the "V" for Victory. Then the second, on the reverse, the simple inscription
, which is where it's name derives. It was 1st struck in 1921 and continued until 1928 and then again in 1934 and 1935.
