The Coin That Started it All
The Official Presentation

I don't think anyone understood the significance of the release of the Delaware Quarter in 1999 ... the 1st Quarter in the New 50 State Quarter Program. It was the coin that launched a new generation of coin collectors & investors - hundreds of millions of them.

Popularity
This is the coin that launched the #1 coin program in the history of the US Mint. That's a powerful statement and a truthful one. So popular the US Mint launched Series II in the 50 State Quarter program in 2010 with The America the Beautiful National Parks. Something to remember ... over the past decade the government's own data suggests there are more 50 State Quarter Collectors than coins.

Quality
In regular release State Quarters the name of the game is Uncirculated coins. Coins that have been set aside by collectors & investors since the coins release .. coins never being used in circulation. The most popular way to collect these gems is in rolls .. for quarters that's 40 untouched coins.

Rarity
The 50 State Quarter Program was set up with a release of 5 coins a year .. meaning each states coin would only be issued for a period of roughly 10 weeks, compared to the traditional yearly release. The Delaware Quarters have a mintage that is less than half of that of the 1998 issue but Mintages only tell part of the story. It's only been a decade since they were 1st released into circulation. When is the last time you've seen one in pocket change?

The Only Officially Issued Quarter Rolls of 1999
When the official program began in 1999 the US Mint did not have a direct program set up for the American public to purchase officially packaged rolls .. that didn't start that until year two. They did release an Officially Licensed Program to be distributed through our banking system. But that also was faced with distribution challenges ... our guess is less than 1% of the collecting public even knew these Officially Licensed rolls were available. Each 40 coin wrapped roll of uncirculated quarters clearly shows the US Mint's 50 State Quarter red, white and blue logo. Each roll is placed in a protective tube, and then presented in full color collector album. As you can see they are easily the finest presentation released in the series.

Official P & D Rolls - the Complete Set
NO ONE has these Officially Licensed and presented rolls. We have a limited number of these "firsts" available in the Official presentation - and we have them at half the price of our major competitors! For these same uncirculated coins! But not in this Official Presentation.

This Officially Licensed Series is the most limited collector uncirculated roll program released in the program. Each suite of 5 Philadelphia Mint rolls comes in an officially licensed display box for the 5 albums. The first five states included in this set are: Delaware, Pennyslvania, New Jersey, Georgia and Connecticut. Match it up with the Denver Mint roll set!
