About this Product

2015 Native American Dollar: The Mohawk Ironworkers in PERFECT 70

Since 2009, the reverse of the Native America Dollar has changed annually, with a few new production twists thrown into the mix here and there. In 2014 we saw the introduction of not only a new design, but also a new finish! They followed that monumental release with another Enhanced Uncirculated Golden Dollar, with 2015's design honoring the Mohawk Ironworkers who helped build a great many towering structures all cross the great city of New York. But, this new design and return of the EU finish was not all that made this coin special...it also had the first use of Edge-incused lettering in the Golden Native American Dollar Series!

Today is the anniversary of one of the most iconic marriages in American history: the union between Pocahontas and John Rolfe! In honor of this occasion we searched the nation and have put together a small number of these PERFECT, edge-incused, Enhanced Uncirculated Native American Dollars from 2015!

An Enhanced Golden First

The beautiful new design of this ground-breaking golden dollar has a reverse that depicts the iconic Mohawk Ironworkers and their contributions towards constructing our cities now world-renown high-rise skylines across America.

But, for the first time in the history in the series, the United States Mint decided to place Edge Incused writing on the coin! The edges of these new Native American Dollars will now bear the Mint Mark, Year and "E Pluribus Unim" that were originally part of the reverse/obverse.
