The Morgan Dollar is considered by many the "True" coin of the fabled Wild West. Made out of nearly 1 full ounce of .900 pure silver from the famous Comstock Lode silver discovery. It was 1st struck in 1878 and continued until 1904 and then again for one final year in 1921.

This Morgan dollar was struck at the Carson City Mint.

This 1882-1884 GSA Carson City Mint Morgan Dollar Set was part of the GSA (General Services Administration) sale held by the Treasury Department in the early 1970's. The special lens presentation validates the pedigree of the coin.

These GSA Carson City Mint Morgan dollars are in Uncirculated condition. It has been held in a United States vault since the day it was struck, never being released into circulation.

This item will arrive to you on a custom designed felt card, enclosed in a plastic lens, covered by a specially made wrap box.
