Issued in 1991 for the 38th anniversary of the end of the Korean War. The 38th anniversary plays significance to the 38th parallel, the line dividing North from South Korea. The US Mint struck a Silver Dollar for the Memorial with proceeds going to the development of the national monument in Washington DC. The obverse is of an infantryman in full battle gear with the reverse an outline of the map of Korea.
