The 2007 Little Rock Silver Dollar was released to commemorate the 50th anniversary of desegregation at Little Rock High School, an important event in the American Civil Rights Movement.

The obverse of the coin features the feet of the "Little Rock Nine" escorted by a soldier to enter the school. The reverse design features Little Rock High School as it appeared in 1957.
