This first day cover features Andrew Jackson. The Philadelphia and Denver mint coins are each from the 1st Day of issue accompanied by a US Postage stamp sealed and stamped with a postmark marking the day the dollar was released to the public. It features two Andrew Jackson $1 Coins from the first day of production at each United States Mint facility, June 2, 2008. The coins are mounted on a handsome display card inside an envelope with one of the four US 42-cent Flags 24/7 stamps. Additionally, the cover features a portrait of President Jackson in front of an American flag. The postmark of August 14, 2008, Nashville, Tennessee, marks the day the Andrew Jackson $1 Coins were first released into circulation.

PRESIDENTIAL FACT: Andrew Jackson Andrew Jackson was the SEVENTH President of the United States. He was the military governor of Florida in 1821, and commander of the American forces during the Battle of New Orleans in 1815. He dominated American politics in the 1820's and 1830's with his political ambition and increased political participation by shaping the modern Democratic Party. Known for his toughness, he was nicknamed "Old Hickory".
