About this Product

The Hot Springs National Park Quarter is the first release in the America the Beautiful National Park Quarter Series. One National Park from each State and U.S. Territory will be honored on the quarter. Like the State Quarter Series, the U.S. Mint will release 5 new designs each year. The 2010 releases include Hot Springs, Yellowstone, Yosemite, Grand Canyon and Mt. Hood.

The quarter's reverse depicts the facade of the Hot Springs National Park headquarters building with a thermal fountain in the foreground. The headquarters was built in the Spanish colonial revival style and completed in 1936. The National Park Service emblem is featured to the right of the door. Inscriptions are HOT SPRINGS, ARKANSAS, 2010 and E PLURIBUS UNUM.

Each uncirculated quarter is layered 7 times in pure 24 karat gold. This Denver Mint coin is encapsulated to protect its condition.
