An Annual Rarity in 1 oz. Silver -- the 6th Kangaroo in the Must-Have series!
The Australian 1 oz Silver kangaroo has always been a collector favorite, but a slight change to their production in 2016 kicked these coins into rarified collecting air...they are now one of the first bullion coins to be minted from .9999 fine silver (yes, that is not a typo, four 9’s!). Add to that the fact that compared to the Silver Eagle or Panda these are some of the rarest pieces released each year, owning these special silver kangaroos became priority #1 for collectors the world over!
Don’t believe us? Just take a look at the last 4 years of production!
2015: just 300,000 made!
2016: Just 11,245,615 made!
2017: Just 5,178,016 made!
2018: Just 4,395,517 made!
These coins are at least 3 times rarer (comparing 2016 mintages) than their Silver Eagle counterparts! But that is not all, not only are they rarer than the Silver Eagle, but for the last 4 years in a row each year has been rarer than the one before it! That means these 2020 issue are sure to be key’s to this special marsupial silver series!
