2020 Big Cats - Panther #3-1/2 Gram Gold - Uncirculated

The ‘Big 5’ series by the Pobjoy Mint was an absolute smash hit with coin collectors around the world… and in retrospect it is easy to see why! They combined incredibly small mintages of just 500 coins, a unique 2 oz. size, and had some of the best designs we have seen on a coin in the last two decades!

These new 2020 Half Gram gold pieces take it to the next level! Not only are these coins even rarer than the 2020 Silver Panther, but they are also struck from .9999 fine gold with the same incredible design!

Each of these special gold coins were struck at the Pobjoy Mint on behalf of the Republic of Sierra Leone. These Panther coins feature incredibly detailed left-facing version of the Big Cat’s head, with the inscriptions ‘Big Cats’ and ‘Panther’ also visible. The reverse of these coins features the Republic of Sierra Leone’s Coat of Arms.

The 2020 Silver Panther sold out almost immediately and these gold coins are sure to follow fast in their wake!
