Over the last few years, Disney’s foray into collectible coins has produced some of the most sought after and popular pieces created in recent memory. Their last issue, the 2020 Mickie and Minnie was one of their fastest sellouts to date!

The newest issue in Disney’s 1 oz silver series has finally arrived and it features the iconic Mickey Mouse himself – only this time, the coin is actually shaped just like him!

But That is not all – with a maximum allowed mintage of just 10,000 this silver dollar ranks as the rarest 1 oz. silver bullion piece ever made by Disney!

Disney has spent the last few years dipping it’s toes into the silver dollar market, and to say they have started a frenzy would be downplaying it! Their 2017 to 2018 1 oz silver pieces were all incredibly popular and lead to almost immediate sellouts with mintages of 250,000. After those sellouts they decided to create some special 2019 coins (like the fan-favorite Fantasia) with limited mintages of just 15,000. These sold out almost immediately and are among the most sought-after coins from last few years… and this year Disney just upped their game for a second time!

These 2021 Mickie Mouse-Shaped silver dollars are going to have an even more limited mintage of just 10,000 coins – making them some of the RAREST DISNEY 1 OZ SILVER COINS ever made!

The design of this is coin features a colorized Mickey Mouse with his hands playfully in his pocket, being his usual bashful self – an image long-time Disney fans are sure to recognize from his many comics, TV shows, and movies! This coin is truly unique thanks to its stunning shape – it is literally shaped like the icon Mouse himself!

The reverse of this Disney coin displays an image of Queen Elizabeth II and was produced by the New Zealand Mint on behalf of the Island of Niue Way. Also visible are the inscriptions ‘1 oz 999 Silver’ ‘2 DOLLARS’, and ‘2021’.
