For more than a half a century the US Mint has been striking two special sets of coins for collectors on a yearly basis ... They are known as the Proof Set and the Mint Set. The Proof Set contains one mirror like coin for each denomination released for circulation while the Mint includes uncirculated examples of each coin struck for circulation .. for the last few decades coins from both the Philadelphia & Denver Mints.

Today's Hidden Treasure
I was reviewing current market values for Mint Sets released since 1968 and I was surprised to see the value .. there are sets still available today at under $10 each .. which is a remarkable value when you look at the issue price for the 2011 set .. in excess of $30 alone.

Our Starter Set
We’ve assembled our “hidden values” into a 10 set package. The package includes at least 1 set from each of the last 4 decades. The 10 are the 1971, 1972, 1984, 1985, 1987, 1989, 1992, 1994, 1998 and 2005. The 1971 and 72 include the San Francsico Mint Lincoln Cents and the 2005 is the 1st special Satin Finish set ever released by the Mint.
