Since their launch in 1999, the U.S. Mint’s State Quarter Collection has been without a doubt one of the most popular coin programs in their long and storied history. With five coins per year, and one coin for each of the 50 states and 6 U.S. Territories, these special quarters were the absolute King-of-the-Hill for everyday collectors.

The follow-up to this stunning collection was the popular America The Beautiful coin program starting in 2010. The America the Beautiful Program shifted the focus from the states themselves to the national parks and monuments within each state, releasing 5 new coins every year until 2021.

Starting with the first quarter released in 2019, the Lowell National Park, the United States Mint has mixed these special West Point Mint quarters into the bags of Philadelphia and Denver Mint uncirculated pieces that are released annually… this turned finding these quarters into a modern day treasure hunt!
