About this Product Full Product Name

In 2005 the US Mint issued the Marine Corps Silver Dollar to honor the 230th Anniversary of the Marine Corps. With a combined mintage of a mere 600,000 pieces it sold out in a matter of days.

This Proof issue shows the seal of the Marine Corps with the inscription Semper Fidelis on one side and the historic raising of the flag by the Unites States Marines on Iwo Jima in 1945, on the other.

The Marine Corp Silver dollar is struck out of .900 fine silver with a net weight of 26.73 grams. This proof Silver Dollar issue was struck at the Philadelphia Mint. Each coin is in their original government packaging.
Comes with BONUS Iwo Jima Stamps in a protective plastic lens.
