The Jefferson Nickel was released in 1938 and remained unchanged until 2004 when the US Mint released a special set of 4 Westward Nickels to commemorate the Lewis & Clark expedition. We've assembled a 6 coin "Change" collection. It includes the last of the vintage Jefferson Nickels in 2003, all 4 special designs of 2004 & 2005 (Peace, Keelboat, Buffalo, and Oceanview) and the new "modern" design of 2006. Each coin is a stunning proof struck at the San Francisco Mint, encapsulated and in a special display.
